Friendly Care Pharmacies, are a not for profit organisation, which has been providing a competitive range of products and services to its members and the community in general for more than 125 years.
Originally established in Hobart in 1882 to cater for the needs of Friendly Society Lodge Members, Hobart Friendly Society have proudly continued down that path to this day.
Friendly Care Pharmacies are a genuine community focused not for profit organisation and no part of any surplus is returned to members by way of dividend.
In addition to providing members with significant discounts, a proportion of the profits each year is allocated to local charities, including Colony 47, City Mission, Vinnie's Men's Shed, Motor Neurone Disease Tasmania, Southern Cross Care, Asthma Foundation Tasmania, Heart Foundation Tasmania & Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania.

We are a PBS prescription dispensing pharmacy. Our professional pharmacists will dispense your scripts carefully and accurately. This attention to detail has lead to our outstanding reputation in communities across Hobart. Some go as far as saying we're the best pharmacy group they've been to! We'll let you decide when you visit and have your pharmacy prescription dispensed with us.
